Save Money with Rebates

Making energy upgrades to your home can help save money on energy bills and increase the comfort of your home. Don’t let the upfront investment for energy upgrades deter you from moving ahead.

There are rebates and incentives available from BGE Smart Energy Savers Program, Potomac Edison Rebates and Pepco/Delmarva Home Energy Savings Program to help offset these costs.

Qualifying for rebates is easy.

Step 1: Have a home energy audit performed.
Step 2: Perform home energy improvements.
Step 3: Qualify for up to $10,000 in rebates based on your home’s energy savings!

Today’s rebate programs are based on energy use reduction. These rebate programs are designed to improve the comfort, energy efficiency, health, safety, and durability of your home. By taking a “whole house” approach to energy efficiency, customers enjoy benefits like fewer drafty rooms, consistent temperatures across rooms, better ventilation and humidity control, and energy savings of up to 20%. Based on the amount of energy your home saves after improvements, you may be eligible for rebates up to $10,000!

The first step is scheduling a Home Performance Energy Audit with a certified Home Performance contractor. (DeVere Insulation Home Performance is a certified contractor.) An audit can uncover a variety of issues. State-of-the-art diagnostic equipment is used to perform a comprehensive home energy audit and determine how improvements throughout your home can work together to maximize energy efficiency and savings. This will include a blower door test that uses a combination of pressure and airflow measurements to determine your home’s air leakage (which contributes to higher energy costs).
